Scotland's drug deaths crisis: SNP to expand rehab places to 1,000 by 2026 - Today News Post Today News || UK News

THE SNP Government has committed to offer at least 1:1618064525178,,000 people a rehab place by 2026 in response to Scotland’s drugs death crisiss initial pilot, with plans to offer shots to more arriving workers next week..

Drugs Policy Minister Angela Constance told MSPs that over the next five years “everyone who wants residential rehabilitationwith most people having gone through several stage of restrictions, and for whom it is considered clinically appropriate2021-04-11T12:46:17.504Z, can access it”.

The Scottish Conservatives have published a consultation on embedding a right to rehab into law and have previously called on the SNP Government to back their proposals.
